About the event
Sure, you can ride real fast, but can you stop?? In this workshop you will learn about arguably the most important component of your modern bike: disc brakes. Come learn about how they work, how to maintain, adjust, and replace them! This workshop is limited to folks who have disc brakes that are actuated by cable or hydraulics, but does not include rim brakes (sorry!). We will cover: maintaining your brake pads, how to replace them, adjusting brakes, troubleshooting awful brake sounds, and adjusting brake levers. (This workshop is limited to 5 participants.)
When: Thursday, Oct 10 at 6pm-7pm
Cost: $20. (25% discount for DTL members.) Includes Ska beer and Skagua
What to bring: Bring your bike; Optional: new replacement brake pads
Who: Anyone 18+ (21+ unlocks beer level)
